Ghostly Encounter at Ganga Barrage

 

It was a dark and stormy night when four friends decided to take a midnight stroll along the Ganga Barrage in Kanpur. They had heard rumors about the place being haunted but didn't pay much attention to it. As they walked along the deserted path, the wind howled and the trees rustled ominously.

Suddenly, one of them saw a shadowy figure standing at the end of the path. They thought it was just their imagination playing tricks on them but as they got closer, they could see a pale, ghostly figure standing by the railing. They froze in fear, unable to move or speak. The figure turned towards them, and its eyes glowed red in the darkness. They felt a cold breeze blowing through their hair, and the temperature dropped suddenly. The ghostly figure started to move towards them, and they could hear its footsteps echoing on the concrete. They ran as fast as they could, but the figure was getting closer and closer. They could feel its icy breath on their necks, and they knew they had to do something fast. One of them pulled out a flashlight and shone it on the figure. To their surprise, it vanished into thin air. The friends were relieved that the ghostly figure had disappeared, but they knew that they needed to find out more about the haunted history of the Ganga Barrage. They decided to do some research and spoke to some of the locals. They discovered that the place was rumored to be haunted by the spirit of a man who had drowned in the Ganges during a flood. It was said that his restless spirit wandered the Barrage at night, looking for a way to cross the river and reach the other side. The friends were determined to find out more about this ghostly presence, and they returned to the Ganga Barrage the next night. This time, they were armed with cameras, audio recorders, and other paranormal equipment. As they walked along the path, they could feel a presence following them. They heard strange whispers and voices, and their equipment started to malfunction. Suddenly, they saw the ghostly figure again, standing by the railing. They approached the figure slowly, trying to capture it on camera. But as they got closer, the figure vanished again, leaving them with more questions than answers. The friends continued to investigate the haunted history of the Ganga Barrage, and their encounters with the ghostly figure continued. They never found out the true identity of the spirit, but they knew that it was a powerful and restless presence that would continue to haunt the Barrage for years to come.
